We are recruiting three software engineers immediately! They will join our current team of four engineers who are working on two projects that involve Eureka! Clinical: the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance and the All of Us Precision Medicine initiative. Both involve development of advanced and highly usable informatics tools for scientists to conduct biomedical research using data from the electronic health record.

Java software engineer with data science experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • A strong interest in tackling challenges in healthcare.
  • In depth knowledge of Java, web containers (Tomcat, JBoss) and development of RESTful web services.
  • Experienced in unit and integration testing, version control (Git), build systems like Maven, and automated deployment technologies such as Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Jersey, Guice, and JPA.
  • Experienced in data analytics, ideally but not necessarily in healthcare.
  • Experience with data models and vocabularies.
  • Comfortable with using Linux servers.
  • Strong willingness to adhere to the security restrictions inherent in environments that have sensitive data (such as patient data).
  • Strong communication skills, including with stakeholders and users.

 

Java software engineer — full stack

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • A strong interest in tackling challenges in healthcare.
  • In depth knowledge of Java, web containers (Tomcat, JBoss) and development of RESTful web services.
  • Experienced in unit and integration testing, version control (Git), build systems like Maven, and automated deployment technologies such as Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Jersey, Guice, and JPA.
  • Comfortable with using Linux servers.
  • Strong willingness to adhere to the security restrictions inherent in environments that have sensitive data (such as patient data).
  • Strong communication skills, including with stakeholders and users.

 

Designer and front-end developer

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A strong interest in tackling challenges in healthcare.
  • In depth knowledge of design and front-end development using modern client-side tools such as Angular and React.
  • Experience working on teams with backend developers, preferably in a Java development environment.
  • Comfortable with using Linux servers.
  • Strong willingness to adhere to the security restrictions inherent in environments that have sensitive data (such as patient data).
  • Strong communication skills, including with stakeholders and users.
